SO gorgeous!
Introducing our beautiful bride, Courtney!
For her September wedding, Courtney looked fabulous in a custom Martina Liana gown!
She complimented her gown with a stunning bouquet from Blush Blooms & Co!
Before the ceremony, Courtney and her soon-to-be hubby, Logan, shared a first look and their vows together in private.
“Listening to my husband’s vows in a first look was my favorite part. He wrote me a beautiful letter that surprised me. It was so well thought out and written that I was very impressed and emotional.”

Courtney and Logan held their ceremony at Mission Bible Church in Minooka!
This ceremony was a vow renewal as the happy couple had legally married previously at the Joliet Courthouse!

The reception was held in the newlyweds’ very own backyard and we love that so much!
They had a tent, bartenders, food and one adorable pooch - what more could you need??

How Courtney and Logan first meet?
“I have always had a crush on Logan since grade school, but he went to a different school so I had never really met him until one fateful night at Bulldogs Alehouse in New Lenox. We started to talk and it felt so easy, like we had been friends for years. The night went into the morning hours when I dropped him off after the bar in his driveway. He asked me on date, kissed me on the cheek, and I was smiling from ear to ear on my ride home.”
How did Logan pop the question?
“I was proposed to on Christmas after our church service. It was a beautiful gift. He wrote me a lovely card and seemed nervous but excited. He did really good, and I was more than prepared to say yes!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“I knew it was coming, we had been ring shopping so I had to have my nails painted at all times!”
After she secured the ring, it was time to secure the gown!
“It went so well! I had been nervous I would have to go to multiple stores and I would be not be able to make a decision. But I had been helped immensely and given honest feedback from my family, friends, and the wonderful woman who was helping me behind the scenes.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“When coming out of the dressing room I knew I had stepped outside my comfort zone, but was so happy I did. Once my sister gave me the confidence boost and reminded me it’s a once in a life time dress I was pleased with every detail of it.”
What was Courtney’s favorite part of the wedding planning process?
“I hand made a lot of my decorations which was fun. There were personal and intimate pieces I wanted to add in to our back yard reception to make it unique.”
What about her least favorite part?
“Some family couldn’t come into town which was saddening because a large part of our goal was to bring our friends and family together from far and wide. Although, we realized it’s important to give others grace and be grateful for who can attend.
What is the best piece of advice Courtney can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“Memorize your timeline and stick to it. The day goes by fast so stick to your schedule the best you can, allow for mistakes and errors and give yourself some grace between things to allow for unexpected things. ENJOY YOURSELF, keep smiling… as the bride you’re on stage and people are looking to see if you’re having a good time. Of course you may be worried and a little stressed but you got this! You’ll be so happy you did.”
Congratulations, Courtney and Logan!!
