This dress {and bride} is just SO cool!
Introducing our beautiful bride, Kiley!
For her spring wedding, Kiley looked so gorgeous in her flowy, long-sleeved Wilderly gown!
She paired it with a beaded cathedral veil by Bel Aire Bridal!

For her stunning flowers, Kiley worked with Dawn's Floral Design out of Wheatfield!
Kiley and Jake were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Embers Station in Rensselaer, IN!

The newlyweds and their guests didn’t have to travel far for the reception - they just headed inside Embers Station to celebrate the happy couple!
“My favorite moment was walking into our reception and seeing all of our favorite people in one place celebrating us! Couldn't be more grateful for all of our family & friends.”

How did the newlyweds first meet?
“We met in high school - over Instagram. We went to neighboring schools and hit it off the first time we hung out!”
How did Jake pop the question?
“I was proposed to in front of Wrigley Field in Chicago. I "prom-posed" to him in April of 2017 with Cubs tickets for our one year anniversary (& I needed a prom date). He returned the proposal back in May of 2021 with an engagement ring! It was so fun & meaningful!”
Was it a surprise or did Kiley know it was coming?
“I had a feeling it was coming soon, I just didn't know when!”
After she said “yes!” to Jake, it was time to say “yes!” to the dress!
“My dress buying experience was a dream! Something about trying on wedding dresses makes your self-confidence bloom! Shannon was absolutely wonderful, and handled myself and my group so well.”
How did Kiley know her dress was "the one"?
“I was SO nervous about the dress buying process. I tried my dress on second and immediately knew it was the one! It couldn't have been more opposite of what I thought I wanted. You'll know it is the right one. Don't settle for something you or your party "think" you want.”
What was her favorite {& least fave} part of the planning process?
“My favorite part of the planning process was realizing HOW amazing my vendors were leading up to wedding day and on wedding day. They were all so helpful with planning & answering my million questions.
My least favorite part was dealing with flaky vendors and all of the unnecessary opinions.”
What is the best piece of advice Kiley can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“My advice is more for day of/days leading up to the weekend... whatever happens during this week is completely out of your control. Just enjoy the excitement and stay positive! Remember your family/wedding crew will take care of you and help resolve any issues that may pop up. Don't stress about it.”
Congratulations, Kiley & Jake!!
