Another week, another gorgeous bride!
Introducing our stunning bride, Mackenzie!
For her September wedding, Mackenzie wore a beautiful crepe gown by Essense of Australia, complete with high neckline, illusion back and such a gorg train!

For her flowers, Mackenzie worked with Charlyn’s Floral to create all of her bouquets and arrangements!
They are SO pretty!!
Mackenzie and her husband, Danny, were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at White Oak Farm Venue in Michigan City!
The flower boy was definitely a nice {and funny!} touch!

The reception was held inside the barn at White Oak Farm Venue and was decorated so well!
We’re loving the tablescapes and dessert table set up!

How did the newlyweds meet?
“We met at our cross fit gym! We kept eyeing each other for a while then I followed him on Insta shortly after and then he slid in them DMs and asked me out on our first date and the rest is history!”
How did Danny pop the question?
“He told me we were going to Fort Wayne for an awards event for his work so I was all dressed up and when we got to Fort Wayne we still had time until the "dinner" so he wanted to go see my college soccer field. I thought it was strange that he wanted to get out of the car and walk onto the field, then when I saw roses on the field I knew what was happening... He proposed to me on the field where I had a bunch of awesome memories and he gave me the best one yet on that field.”
Was it a surprise or did Mackenzie know it was coming?
“I had some suspicions that it was coming but it was mostly a surprise!”
Moving on to our fave topic: dress shopping!
“It was awesome and so much fun! I am not one who is into that kind of stuff so I wasn't super excited but Something Blue made it fun and I really enjoyed it.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“It was actually the first one I tried on but it felt so right when I first put it on and none of the other dresses compared to the first one. The other ones were so pretty but they didn't make me feel how the first one felt on me.”
What was Mackenzie’s favorite part of the planning process?
“I really enjoyed doing all the decorations and signs for everything and putting all that stuff together. I had a vision in my mind and Pinterested a lot of things so I wasn't sure how it would turn out but seeing it all put together was awesome.”
What about her least fave?
“Creating the guest list and the seating chart...I wanted anyone and everyone to be at our wedding but no venues can hold that many people lol. It was definitely the most stressful part of wedding planning.”
What is her favorite wedding day memory?
“Dancing the night away together with our friends and family and just living in the moment.”
What is the best piece of advice Mackenzie can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“Do not stress the little things, I did that so much and regret it because hardly anyone noticed. There will be things that go wrong but all that matters is the end result of the day and that is you are married to your person!”
Congratulations, Mackenzie + Danny!!
