Introducing our stunning bride Abby!
For her December wedding, Abby looked so beautiful in a strapless satin ballgown by Madison James! That slit? SO good!
She added a cathedral length pearl veil by Giselle Bridal!

Before the big walk down the aisle, Abby and her almost-hubby, Matthew, shared a first look and their vows together!

Abby and Matthew were married in a beautiful ceremony inside the chapel at Aberdeen Manor and Ballroom in Valparaiso!

After the newlyweds made things official, everyone walked over to the ballroom to celebrate!

Where did Abby and Matthew first meet?
“High school! I was a Junior and he was a freshman, Didn't date until 9 years later!”
How did he pop the question?
“We were having family photos done at Hamstra Gardens and he did it there!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“Yes and no! I had an idea because it was the perfect setting and my sister asked to get our nails done a few days before! He did it at the end of the session so I kinda gave up the thought it was happening but then I saw something box-y in his pants pocket lol!”
After she secured the ring, it was time to secure the gown!
“Dress shopping was definitely one of my favorite moments during the whole wedding planning process! It was one of the only relaxing and stress free moments.
I had an idea of what I wanted, but I didn't want to try that on first. Something Blue had everything and anything I wanted to see and it was such a great experience!”
How did Abby know her dress was "the one"?
“I think I cried in every dress I tried on because I was just happy to be in the moment. But I actually didn't cry when I had on my dress. I was in awe with it and couldn't stop looking at myself and just felt perfect in it! And then the veil!! Once she styled me with the exact veil I described, I just knew I was done trying anything else on and didn't even want to look at another dress.”
That is the best feeling!
What was her favorite part of the planning process?
“Almost Everything! I had so much fun planning every little detail with my mom. Being able to create my dream wedding with her was amazing!”
What about her least favorite part?
“The month before the wedding mark. Finalizing every little detail and making sure we had enough candles and picture frames and making sure the guys all sent in their measurements was a nightmare! I would gladly do it all over again but then hire someone to do the month before stuff for me!”
Now that its all said and done, what is her favorite memory from the wedding?
“Our first look, I surprised him with my aisle walk down song so seeing his reaction and the speeches. The speeches were all amazing and hit every feeling and emotion!”
Finally, what is the best piece of advice Abby can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“Do not worry or stress about centerpieces, chair covers or table linens!!! no one remembers them anyway!”
