Ok, do we have the prettiest brides or do we have the prettiest brides?!
Introducing our gorg bride, Kasey!
For her June wedding, Kasey was stunning in a fitted, crepe gown by Martina Liana! We are so in love with the gorgeous details on the gown, from the bodice to the detachable sleeves!
Throw in a cathedral length pearl veil by Giselle and some earrings from Malis Henderson and she was picture perfect!

Kasey’s flowers were seriously stunning, all thanks to Iron Meadows Flower Farm in Buckley, Illinois!
The pops of color are SO good!

Before the craziness of the day, Kasey and her soon-to-be hubby, Hunter, shared a special first look together!

Kasey and Hunter were married in the old Crown Point Courthouse on the square!
This ceremony room is one of our all-time faves!

After the newlyweds said “I do”, everyone headed to the Grand ballroom, also inside the old Crown Point Courthouse!

How did Kasey meet Hunter?
“We met through our moms. They have been friends for a long time and so Hunter and I have always known each other but never thought we would date or end up married! Haha!”
Um, SO cute!! How did Hunter pop the question?
“We went on a trip to Iceland with our best friends in October of ‘22. We were just going because it was a bucket list trip of all of ours and then he ended up proposing while we were there!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“It was a complete surprise! I had absolutely no idea.”
When Kasey arrived home, it was time to start the hunt for her wedding gown!
“My dress buying experience was amazing! Everyone that worked there were so amazing, helpful, and patient. I had my mom, sister, mother in law, and grandma with me. My grandma had been sick and not doing great at the time so it was so special and emotional to have that moment with everyone but especially with her. It’s a memory I will always hold close to my heart. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“Honestly I was going between two back and forth but the one I ended up choosing I feel had so many different features that I loved for all different reasons. It just felt right and I’m so happy I chose it. I wish I could wear it every day.”
What was her favorite part of the planning process?
“All of it was super fun! I really don’t know if I can pick one thing. I loved having a vision and then planning the details to help it come to life. Picking my vendors was fun too because they play such a big role in also bringing your vision to life and they were all such amazing people!”
What about her least favorite part?
“Probably the guest list because I wish I could invite everyone!”
Looking back, what was her favorite moment from the wedding?
“Omg…I cannot just pick one. It was such an amazing day. It was full of so much love and emotion and was so special to be surrounded by all our loved ones on such a special day. We did do a worship moment during our ceremony to a song called “The Blessing” by Kari Jobe where we had our bridal party, parents, and grandparents come up and surround us in prayer and worship and that was so special and one of the highlights for sure. But, all of it was truly my favorite.”
What is the best piece of advice Kasey can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“Be present and just live in the moment. I’m sure everyone says that but it truly goes by so fast so think about what’s most important to you on your special day and do it, don’t worry about anyone else and their opinions. Also if I could go back I would allow more time for pictures so if you’re thinking about adding more time for that I would say do it.”
Congratulations, Kasey and Hunter!!
