She is so gorgeous!!
Introducing our beautiful bride, Katherine!
For her late summer wedding, Katherine looked amazing in a fitted, strapless crepe gown by Allure Bridals! Paired with a lace adorned veil by Bel Aire Bridal, Katherine looked so perfect for her big day!

For her flowers, Katherine worked with FlowerFirm to create all of her stunning bouquets!
We love a first look so much, and Katherine and her soon-to-be hubby, Justin’s, is so sweet!

After the couple said “I do”, everyone headed inside the barn for a beautiful reception!
Katherine loves looking back on this part of the day…
“My favorite part was dinner. My husband and I looked up together and just saw all our close friends and family in one room, laughing, and talking, and just as happy to be there then we were.”

How did the newlyweds first meet?
“Justin and I met at our jobs in the city of Chicago.”
How did Justin pop the question?
“It was Christmas morning, and we were exchanging our gifts with our pup Maggie by our sides. We finished with gifts, and he told me he had one more present for me he had to go grab. He came out of our bedroom and started talking about our relationship and our amazing journey together. He then got down on one knee!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“I was shocked not going to lie. We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and that we were both on the same page about getting married. I just didn’t know it was going to happen that morning!”
Let’s talk dress shopping!
“I heard a lot of great things about “Something Blue” and I followed the Instagram account and knew I had to go there. My two best friends, my mom, and I went shopping and we had such a great experience. All the women who work there are all so sweet and they know how to hype you up.
I knew my dress was the one when I got onto the podium and saw the gown, I fell in love. I then threw on one of their amazing veils and the rest was history.”
What was Katherine’s favorite part {and least fave part} of the planning process?
“My favorite part of planning was putting our colors together and seeing the vision of it all come to life. The colors just went perfectly with my flowers, out outside venue, and my Bridesmaids looked stunning.
My least favorite part was definitely figuring out the seating chart. I had to keep thinking to myself ‘Who do I not want to make mad with their table’.”
What is the best piece of advice Katherine can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“My biggest advice would be is to cherish it all. I looked at the clock and 11pm came by so quickly and our day was over. Remember it is your day and you can do whatever you want.”
Congratulations, Katherine + Justin!
