Introducing our gorgeous bride, Taylor!
Just to let you know, her married name is now Taylor Swift - can you even??
For her spring wedding in New Orleans, Taylor chose a beautiful A-line gown by Stella York and made it all her own with off-the-shoulder flutter sleeves from Madi Lane!

How did the happy couple first meet?
“I met Michael in high school!”
How did Michael pop the question?
“Michael proposed to me at the place where we cut down our Christmas tree every year. He sawed the tree down and while he was on the ground he went to one knee and proposed to me.”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“It was a surprise how he proposed, but I knew it was coming soon.”
Let’s talk dress shopping!
“I decided to keep it just a special moment between my mom and I, just like we used to shop for all my homecoming, turnabout, and prom dresses. Something Blue was the second store we went to. I couldn’t have asked for a better/easier experience.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“I wanted a dress with some kind of sleeve but not long sleeves. I tried my dress on which was a beaded spaghetti strap. I loved the way the dress looked on me and was perfect for me, it just didn’t have a sleeve like I wanted. I loved the sleeve off another dress but loved my dress. When I was told I could have my dress and order sleeves off the other dress it felt like fate!”
What was Taylor’s favorite part of planning her special day?
“Picking the venue was fun. We decided to get married in New Orleans. My parents flew with me to New Orleans to tour venues with me and we made a weekend out of it. I ended up picking two venues. The ceremony was in the courtyard of the Pharmacy Museum, and we decided to do a second line parade to our reception venue at Basin St. Station.”
What about her least fave part?
“Making the guest list. Because it was a destination wedding, we kept it small. There is always some guilt feeling like you are leaving some people out.”
Looking back, what was her favorite moment from the wedding?
“At the very end Michael and I got on a horse drawn carriage to our after party location. We got to be alone together and let the whole day sink in together. It felt like we were back in time. And it was nice getting a quiet moment alone.”
What is the best piece of advice Taylor can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“Don’t stress too much about the details. The day will be perfect simply because you get to marry your best friend.”
Congratulations, Taylor + Michael!!
