I mean, come on! She is so gorgeous!

Introducing our beautiful bride, Camryn!

For her October wedding, Camryn was absolute perfection in a fitted, fully beaded Martina Liana gown!

She finished off her look with a veil by Bel Aire Bridal and Olive + Piper earrings!

Before saying “I do”, Camryn shared a special first look and vows with her soon-to-be hubby, Jacob!

Camryn + Jacob were married in a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s in Crown Point!

The reception was held at The Market in Valparaiso!

One of the cutest personal touches we’ve ever seen?

Camryn, a 1st grade teacher, had her students write sweet notes about love that were placed on each table!

How did Camryn and Jacob first meet?

“We actually met in our middle school home room class, so we’ve known each other since 7th grade! We didn’t start dating until the summer after high school, when he texted me happy birthday of all things and we’ve been together ever since!”

How did Jacob pop the question?

“Jacob, my husband, made the most elaborate plan to propose! We booked a trip out to Colorado and I had mentioned when we first booked the trip that I would love to get couples pictures taken out there! My aunts a photographer so we had done it before, but it had been years. So he found a photographer on tiktok named Ally Beck who was actually booked for the year, but after seeing what he said on her inquiry form, took us anyways! They planned this whole photo shoot and I was completely clueless about it all! We went to the photo shoot and we got about 3 poses done before she put us in a specific pose with my back to him. When I turned around he was down on one knee! It didn’t feel real and the pictures we got from that day are too stunning to even believe. Then we spent the rest of the week in Colorado celebrating!”

Was it a surprise or did Camryn know it was coming?

“It was a total surprise! My aunt is a photographer so we’ve done photos before together. I had mentioned that I thought it would be nice to get them done in Colorado and he made it happen. I didn’t think anything of it other than he had listened to me about that part of the trip!”

Moving on to our favorite topic - dress shopping!

“I absolutely loved every part of my dress buying experience! I came with my mom, sister and best friend and it’s one of the first times I felt like a bride. Immediately when I walked in I was a little shocked about the selection of dresses and was quickly put to ease with the welcome environment and great explanation of where everything was. Shannon is the one who helped with the process and she made me feel like the most confident version of myself in every dress!”

How did she know her dress was "the one"?

“I would say that I loved every dress that I was in, which was true, but with my dress, it was the only one I said I was OBSESSED with! Shannon was the one to actually bring that up to me and it made picking between my final 2 dresses much easier!”

What was her favorite part of the planning process?

“My favorite part of the process was the little details! I had the best bridal party and vendors who made my life so much easier, so I was really able to focus on the little things that I wanted! Details have always been my favorite parts of the weddings that I’ve been to so I was really excited to add what I could to my own!”

What about her least favorite part?

“As much as I loved the planning process, I could live without the stress of finding vendors. Though mine were all amazing, I was so stressed trying to find them all!”

Looking back, what is Camryn’s favorite memory from the wedding?

“My favorite moment of the wedding was our final private dance! The DJ kicked everyone out of the room and put on our last song for just the 2 of us to dance to. It was the best way to end the night and gave us time to reflect on the whole day!”

What is the best piece of advice Camryn can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?

“Take time with your significant other and celebrate everything about your day! We took 5 minutes after the ceremony to go through the initial shock and a private dance at the end to really reflect and those were our favorite parts of the day! Everyone is there for the both of you and so excited to celebrate with you, but take the time to do a private little celebration, they’ll all be there when you’re ready to come back!”

Congratulations, Camryn + Jacob!!
