We are so happy to introduce you to our beautiful bride, Sarah!
For her October wedding, Sarah looked so incredible in a sparkly, A-line gown by Allure Couture!
She paired it with a Bel Aire Bridals veil and looked absolutely stunning!

A family friend made all of Sarah’s bouquets and they turned out so pretty!
Before heading down the aisle, Sarah and her soon-to-be hubby, James, shared a sweet first look together!

How did Sarah & James meet?
“We met on Tinder.
I had told him that I would not meet him for a month and somehow within a week we were going on our first date. He came to my house and met my parents and then took me to see the Christmas lights at Peteyville. We now go back yearly.”
How did James pop the question?
“We went on vacation to Memphis and he proposed in front of the pandas which are my favorite animal.”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“It was a complete surprise. He always told me he would not propose on vacation. I did start to think something may happen because he slept the entire car ride to Memphis, and the morning of the proposal he was very quiet.”
After saying “yes!” to James, it was time for Sarah to say “yes!” to the dress!
“I had the best dress buying experience ever. Everyone was so helpful and sweet. I felt like a princess. The dress buying experience was the easiest part about my wedding planning and the most enjoyable.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“I knew my dress was the one when I saw it on the Something Blue Instagram page. I told everyone about the dress before trying it on and I was so worried about not loving it on me. I knew the second I put it on it was what I wanted. I walked out in the dress and instantly started crying. The song my now husband always played in the car “my universe” was also playing as I walked out so it kinda felt like fate. We also ended up walking out of our wedding to the song as well.”
What was her favorite {and not-so-favorite} part of the planning process?
“My favorite part of the planning process was buying all the decorations. It was fun looking at all the fall decor and picking out what I wanted. It was also fun making all of the centerpieces and then seeing them come together in the reception hall.
My least favorite part was dealing with getting all the RSVPs back, and trying to make a seating chart. We had a lot of issues with the mail not delivering the RSVP cards back to us as well as having to hunt people down who either didn’t put their name on theirs or who just never sent them back.”
Looking back, what is her favorite wedding memory?
“My favorite moment from my wedding was the reception. Our DJ, 219 Productions, was amazing and kept the whole crowd entertained. We had so much fun dancing the night away.”
Does Sarah have any advice for brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“The best advice I could give to brides-to-be is to not let others tell you what to do for your wedding. It’s your big day and it should be everything you want it to be.”
Congratulations, Sarah & James!! Be sure to check out more of their beautiful wedding photos by Timothy Paul Photography in the gallery below!
