Work it, girl!!

Introducing our sweet bride, Samantha!

For her fall wedding, Samantha looked absolutely stunning in a Wilderly by Allure gown!

We love how this gorgeous dress is fitted underneath with a flowy tulle layer on top - the best of both worlds!

Samantha made all of her own bouquets with faux florals and pampas grass!

Loving the fall boho vibes!

Samantha and her husband, Eduardo, were married at River Pointe Country Club in Hobart, Indiana!

The ceremony was held outside in the gazebo!

After the newlyweds said “I do”, everyone headed inside the country club for the reception!

How did Samantha and Eduardo first meet??

“We met in high school!! We also did the sport swimming in high school which brought us closer and started dating my senior year of high school.”

How did Eduardo pop the question?

“He proposed (March 2021) by having me go get my nails/toes done on a Sunday morning with my sister in law. We planned on having Sunday dinner at my brother’s house, so that’s where we headed after getting our nails done. I walked into their house with our song playing, rose petals leading the way, and him getting down on one knee. My family was there too hiding in a corner and it was a beautiful surprise!”

Did she have any idea it was coming??

“I would say overall it was a surprise.. but I had a small suspicion when he told me to go get my nails done. I always said to him to make sure I have nice nails when you propose!”

What was Samantha’s favorite {and least fave} part of the planning process?

“Wedding dress shopping was by far my favorite part of wedding planning. So much fun and so many beautiful dresses! My first stop was Something Blue Bridal and I found two amazing gowns that I liked a lot. I went to a few other bridal dress shops (nothing compared) and then came back to Something Blue. Once I tried on my #1 pick with them, I knew it was the one. The way the dress made me feel and I loved every little detail. Even my mom said that’s the one from the first time I tried it on. It was perfect!

My least favorite part of wedding planning was honestly probably making the guest list and waiting on people to send their RSVP’s. Overall wedding planning wasn’t bad, but the last few months were stressful and making sure every little detail is perfect. I am so glad we did a two year engagement, made things so much easier!”

What is her favorite memory from the wedding day?

“My favorite moment at our wedding was dancing the night away with the people we love!! It was so much fun, lots of laughing and booty shaking lol. I loved our first dance together, and the emotional moments dancing with our parents. Just amazing night all around. A day I will cherish forever.”

Does Samantha have any advice for brides who are currently in the throes of wedding planning?

“Unfortunately, during wedding planning you learn a lot about people.. good and bad. The best advice I can give you is that you need to do what you and your significant other want to do. Doesn’t matter what anyone else has to say because in the end it’s your day and nothing else will matter. All those little details or the opinions of others will not matter the day of. Your love for one another will make everything go away and you will enjoy your night no matter what. So just make sure you chose the right one to love and support you and no matter what, your day will be perfect.”

Congratulations, Samantha and Eduardo!!
